This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed by the petitioner, seeking the following relief: " .... to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, order or direction declaring the action of the Respondents in not considering the Petitioner's LRS application Nos.3514/ C12/ WZ/ 08, dated: 29-09-2008 and 3000051561, dated:30-01-2016 as illegal, arbitrary and unjust and contrary to the Rules for Regulation of Unapproved and Illegal Layouts and consequently direct the Respondents to complete the procedure of regularization with respect to the pending application of the Petitioner under the Layout Regularization Scheme (LRS) bearing Nos.3514/ C12/ WZ/ 08, dated: 29-09-2008 and 3000051561, dated:30-01-2016 without further procrastination and grant such orders and reliefs....."
Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration appearing for respondent No.1 and Sri Sampath Prabhakar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent Nos. 2 to 4. I have perused the material record. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made application dated 08.12.2018 in respect of his plot for regularization in accordance with terms of G.O.Ms.No.151 dated 02.11.2015 and that despite such application, respondent Nos. 2 to 4 are not taking any action.
Sri Sampath Prabhakar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel states that the petitioner's application would be considered appropriately within a reasonable time and the decision taken would be communicated to the petitioner.
Dr. SSRB,J Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's application referred to above within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken thereon to the petitioner within a week thereafter.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any shall stand closed. No costs.
