CVNR, J WP 5936/2013 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "...to issue an appropriate writ, order or writ more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd Respondent in removing the petitioners' names from the rolls of the college and issuing Transfer Certificate vide its orders dated 19-01-2013 as being arbitrary, illegal, violative of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and the provisions of sections 5 and 6 of A.P. Prohibition of Ragging Act, and in violation of principles of natural justice and consequently set aside the same enabling the petitioners to prosecute B. Tech Course in the 2nd Respondent institution."
At the hearing, Mr. Ch. Samson Babu, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P. No.7374 of 2013 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
