These Writ Petitions are filed against rejection of deed of conveyance presented for registration by the Sub-Registrar vide refusal orders impugned in the Writ Petitions. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner in W.P.No.42449 of has already filed application/ representation/appeal before the Committee and that the Committee has considered the request of the petitioner positively. He further submits that other petitioners have not filed any application/representation/appeal and hence seeks leave of the Court to file such appeal.

In addition to remedy of submitting application against exclusion of properties shown in the prohibited list of properties under Section 22 (A) (1) of the Registration Act (for short, 'the Act'), a remedy of appeal is available to the petitioners against order of refusal by Sub-Registrar under Section 72 of the Act. 4.

While granting liberty to the petitioners to file appeal against the refusal orders, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. In view of the fact that the Writ Petitions are pending since the years 2015 and 2016, the petitioners are granted liberty to file such appeal within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As and when such appeal is filed by the petitioners, the appellate authority shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petitions shall stand closed.
