ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 1st respondent in issuing the impugned proceedings dated 13.03.2009 suspending the driving license of the petitioner for a period of six months.

The petitioner was appointed as driver in the 2nd respondentCorporation in the year 1995. While he was working at Kalyandurg depot he was placed under suspension vide proceedings dated 18.10.2008 on the allegation of negligent driving of vehicle No.AP11Z 5002 resulting in collision with a motor cyclist who died later in the hospital. Thereafter, the 2nd respondent revoked the suspension vide order dated 11.03.2009 holding that there is 3rd party evidence to the effect that the motor cyclist was under the influence of liquor, which was confirmed in the postmortem report. However, the 1st respondent based on the report of the Motor Vehicle Inspector dated 01.10.2008, issued show cause notice dated 04.02.2009 to the petitioner. The petitioner submitted his explanation dated 19.02.2009.

Without considering the same, the 1st respondent issued proceedings dated 13.03.3009 suspending the driving licence of the petitioner for a period of six months. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 20.03.3009 to the 1st respondent for issuance of corrigendum. Since no corrigendum has been issued, present writ petition is filed. This Court while issuing rule nisi on 24.04.2009 granted interim suspension of the impugned proceedings dated 13.03.2009. Admittedly, in this case, the disciplinary authority itself has revoked the suspension orders against the petitioner.

view of the suspension of driving licence itself is for a period of six months, no further orders need be passed in this writ petition. In view of the same, I deem it appropriate to make the interim order as final order in this writ petition.

With the above direction the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
