HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT W.P. No. 31958 of 2016 DATE: 13.10.2016 Between:

Gundla Tirupathi and three others .. Petitioners And The State of Telangana and another .. Respondents

SKK,J WP_31958_2016 O R D E R:- The main grievance of the writ petitioners is that even though they made representation dated 22.08.2016 requesting the respondents to issue Notification under the provisions of Land Acquisition Act, 2013 and pay compensation for their properties which are under threat of submergence, the respondents have not considered the same so far. Keeping in view the averments made in the writ affidavit and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 22.08.

2016 said to have been made by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate decision that may be taken on the representation, in writing to the petitioners, within a period of three days thereafter. It is needless to mention that if the petitioners are still aggrieved by action or inaction of the respondents, they are at liberty to challenge the same by approaching appropriate forum.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

SKK,J WP_31958_2016 As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
