When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner has retired from service and the relief sought by him cannot be granted at this point of time.

If the petitioner feels that he has any grievance to be redressed by the respondents, he is at liberty to submit a representation within one week and upon receiving such representation, the respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders in four weeks thereafter. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
