THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO WRIT PETITION No.13117 OF 2015 ORDER:

The petitioner, whose services have been terminated, as a Apprentice Development Officer has preferred an appeal to the Managing Director of the Life Insurance Corporation of India on 24.01.2014.

The grievance in this writ petition is that more than 15 months period has already elapsed, but still the said appeal has not been taken up for consideration and disposal. Instead of keeping this writ petition pending, as suggested by Smt.Sravana Sandhya, learned counsel for the petitioner, I consider it appropriate to direct the appellate authority to deal with the appeal dated 24.01.2014 filed by the petitioner on merits as expeditiously as possible preferably with in a period of thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken thereon to the petitioner. With this, the writ petition stands disposed of at the admission stage after hearing Sri B.Raj Kiran, learned standing counsel for the respondents. No order as to costs.

All the miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
