ORAL ORDER:

Petitioner was appointed as Community Organizer in Bobbili municipality. By the orders of the Project Director, IKP-Urban (MEPMA), Vizianagaram dated 30.4.2015, petitioner was transferred and posted to Parvathipuram Municipality as Data-Entry Operator. In this writ petition, petitioner challenges said transfer contending that when he was appointed as Community Organizer, he could not have been posted to any other post which is wholly unconnected to the post to which he was appointed. However, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for petitioner submitted that ventilating his grievances, petitioner has submitted a representation to the District Collector, which was acknowledged on 25.7.

2016 and it would suffice the interest of the petitioner, if a direction is issued to the District Collector who is Chairman of MEPMA Vizianagaram to dispose of the said representation expeditiously, and with such direction writ petition can be disposed of. Having regard to the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, writ petition is disposed of, directing the District Collector-4th respondent to examine the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in his representation dated 25.7.2016 and pass appropriate orders by assigning reasons for arriving at such decision and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.

Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
