O R D E R

Aggrieved by the inaction of the 1st respondent - Telangana Legislature Secretariat, represented by its Secretary, in considering the application of the 2nd petitioner dated 06.03.2017, for appointing him as Car Driver / MCDR, on compassionate grounds, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Sri M.V.Ramana, learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent submits that there is any amount of doubt whether petitioner No.2 is the adopted son of the deceased employee, since he is relying on an adoption deed said to have been executed in the year 2010 and the deceased died on 19.12.2016, and during his life time, he never mentioned in his records about the alleged adoption deed and hence the claim of the petitioner No.2 cannot be considered.

This court under the writ jurisdiction is not deciding the validity of the adoption deed relied on by the petitioners and is also not issuing any mandamus to appoint the petitioner No.2 on compassionate grounds. It is for the competent authority to consider the application of the petitioner in accordance with law and pass orders. As the representation of the 2nd petitioner dated 06.03.2017, is pending consideration with the 1st respondent, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission, directing the said respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
