This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not allotting the patta land admeasuring Ac.14.00 cents in Survey Nos.40/A4, 77, 79, 72, 73/E, situated at Kachavaram Revenue Village, Yerrupalem Mandal, Khammam District, in favour of the petitioner.

It is the case of the petitioner that his father purchased the aforesaid land and after his death, he has been cultivating the said land. However, his grievance is that his father's name was removed and one K.Sambaiah's name was included in the revenue records. When his father submitted a representation to the Mandal Revenue Officer in the month of October, 1998, notices were issued to his father and the said Sambaiah to attend for enquiry on 04.11.1998. Pursuant to the said notice, his father attended, but the said Sambaiah did not attend. The petitioner has not stated with regard to the subsequent developments, but he submitted a representation to the District Collector seeking justice. It is not known what sort of justice the petitioner claimed in the representation and the present Writ Petition is filed after 19 years from the date of enquiry i.e., on 04.11.1998.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is misconceived and accordingly, it is dismissed. However, this order will not prevent the petitioner from taking appropriate steps in accordance with law.
