Heard Sri V.Nitesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Women Development and Child Welfare for the respondents 1 to 4.

2. The petitioner is an Anganwadi Worker working at Gundlamadugu village in Thonduru Mandal of Kadapa district. She was appointed as Anganwadi Worker in the year 1982.

Subsequently, she was married to a person within the local limits of Thonduru I Anganwadi Centre in Thonduru Mandal. Thus, she became the native of Thonduru village in Thonduru Mandal. She filed a representation dated 07-9-2015 to the respondents to consider her request for transfer to Thonduru I Anganwadi Centre in Thonduru Mandal as Anganwadi Worker.

She submits that as per G.O.Ms.No.42, dated 07-01-2009, subsequent to her marriage, her case has to be considered for transfer to Thonduru I Anganwadi Centre in Thonduru Mandal on priority basis. However, in the meanwhile, the respondents issued a Notification dated 09-9-2015 to fill up the post of Anganwadi Worker in Thonduru I Anganwadi Centre in Thonduru Mandal.

Under these circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer as requested in her application dated 26-9-2015 to Thonduru I Anganwadi Centre in Thonduru Mandal in terms of G.O.Ms.No.42, dated 07-01-2009, prior to filling the post of Anganwadi Worker pursuant to the Notification dated 09-9-2015 and pass appropriate orders thereon

within a period of 8 (eight) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
