This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash proceedings in F.I.R.No.230 of 2017 of Gajwel Police Station, Medak District, against the petitioner.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor and perused the record.

It is contended that the petitioner is a bona fide purchaser of land admeasuring 199.37 sq. yds. in the year 2006 under a registered sale deed and the vendor of the petitioner purchased the said land in the year 1999 under a registered sale deed. The matter requires examination. The truth or otherwise of the above transactions would only be determined after investigation into the F.I.R. Therefore, it is not appropriate to quash the proceedings as prayed for. However, the interest of the petitioner is required to be protected. 4.

In the above circumstances, the Investigating Officer is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report without arresting the petitioner.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. 6.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
