This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondents not to demolish and not to dispossess the petitioners from any part of their residential houses bearing Nos.4-2-137, 5-2-63, 4-2-108, 5-1-144, 5-1-122, 4-2-107, 5-2-65, 5-2-57, 5-2-65, 5-2-87, 5-2-52, 5-2-84, 5-2-10, 5-1-158, 51-134, 5-2-65/1, 4-3-134/A, 5-2-12 and 5-2-13 situated at Gajulapet, Metpally Proper and Mandal, Jagitial District, without initiating any land acquisition proceedings and without following the due process of law. 2.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

The main grievance of the petitioners is that the 2nd respondent has taken up road widening programme in their village and that the 2nd respondent along with the staff came to the premises of the petitioners and put a red mark showing the extent of demolition of their residential houses, without initiating any land acquisition proceedings and without paying any compensation.

Considering the circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioners, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:

"The respondents are directed to follow the due process of law, if they intend to acquire the property of the petitioners and if the petitioners established their right over the subject property." 5.
