This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.180 of 2008 on the file of III Additional Junior Civil Judge, Tirupati.

When the matter was listed on 03.10.2017, none appears for the petitioners and this Court directed to list the matter under the caption 'for dismissal'.

Even when the matter is listed today under the caption 'for dismissal', none appears on their behalf to represent their case. Sri B.V.Madhava Reddy, learned counsel states that on 31.10.2012, the petitioners have taken no objection from him to engage another counsel on their behalf. So far, the petitioners have not engaged any counsel on their behalf to represent their case. It shows that the petitioners are not evincing any interest in prosecuting the case. Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
