This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents 2 to 5 in not surveying and demarcating the petitioners land in spite of the application of the petitioners dated 08.02.2016 in respect of the landed property of the petitioners situated in Survey No.129/29, Revenue Survey No.319, T.S.No.33/1, Ward No.12, Block No.M, Khata Serial No.167, Road No.12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader submitted that the Tahsildar, Shaikpet Mandal stated in the written instructions issued to him that no application was filed in his office, but an application was filed in Asifnagar Mandal. Further, it is stated that the application referred to the mutation of his name in the place of M.A. Iqbal leaving other legal heirs. In view of the same, learned counsel for the petitioners sought liberty to file fresh application before the Tahsildar, Shaikpet, for appropriate relief.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed, giving liberty to the petitioners to take appropriate proceedings. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
