THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.11267 of 2015

ORDER

This criminal petition under Sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed by the petitioner-A1 seeking bail in Cr.No.72 of 2015 of Makavarampalem Police Station, Visakhapatnam District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b) and 25 of NDPS Act.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. It is alleged that on 09.07.2015 at about 2.00 AM., near Burugupalem Junction Area, Makaveerapalem Mandal, on suspension, the police officials stopped the auto and found 78 Kgs of ganga in 7 bags for illegal transportation.

4. Since the contraband seized from the possession of the accused is a commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
