HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.31965 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioners are stated to have made an application, dated 17.10.2014, under Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act') seeking grant of pattadar passbooks and title deeds. It is stated that their vendor was already granted pattadar passbook and title deeds. Alleging that no action is being taken by the Tahsildar, Hayatnagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, the 4th respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed. In view of the fact that the applications of this nature are required to be considered within a fixed time frame of 45 days, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' application and if it is in conformity with the Act, pass appropriate orders expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
