Petitioner's grievance is that he had filed an appeal along with stay application before the 2nd respondent on 18.06.2016 challenging the order dt.03.05.2016 in Proceedings No.499/Q3/2012 of the 3rd respondent and that the 2nd respondent is not taking up the said appeal or the stay application filed therein.

2. The Government Pleader for Mines & Geology states that the 2nd respondent will consider the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner.

3. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall no order as to costs.

4. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
