Petitioner claims that pursuant to recruitment notification of the year 2010, they were selected and appointed as Hostel Welfare Officers Grade - II vide orders dated 18.08.2010. Later, petitioners 1 and 3 were appointed as English Contract Residential Teachers and 2nd petitioner was appointed as Contract Hostel Welfare Officer Grade - II.

Grievance of the petitioners necessitating institution of this Writ Petition is, services of about 20 Contract Hostel Welfare Officers Grade - II were regularized vide G.O.Ms.No.57, dated 19.12.2016, whereas the said benefit is not extended to them. According to petitioners, persons in whose favour said orders were passed are juniors to them. Ventilating their grievance and soliciting conferment of same benefit, petitioners claim to have submitted representation on 02.03.2017 to the Commissioner of Tribal Welfare, Government of Telangana, Hyderabad, the 2nd respondent.

In view of the above facts, without entering into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to examine the claim of the petitioners as reflected in their representation, dated 02.03.2017, and take appropriate further course of action as warranted by law and petitioners may be informed of the said action within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
