HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE (TR) NO.90 OF 2017 ORDER:

The A.P.Administrative Tribunal passed orders on 20.08.2013 directing the respondents to verify and fill up the vacant posts with the eligible candidates as per the procedure contemplated in G.O.Ms.No.208, Health, Medical and Family Welfare (J.2) Department, dated 02.08.2011. Alleging violation of the said order, this contempt case is filed.

It is seen from the record that praying to vacate the interim order granted, respondents filed WVMP (Tr) No.162 of 2017 (VMA No.524 of 2015). In the counter-affidavit, they have also stated that all the vacancies which were notified already filled up and they denied the contention that more vacancies are available. The main writ petition itself is heard and disposed of by separate order. 3.

Having regard to the facts noted above, I do not see any reason to initiate proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act and Contempt Case (TR) is accordingly closed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
