ORDER
The petitioner challenges the demand notice dated 06.03.2019 issued by the 3rd respondent- Assistant Director of Mines and Geology, as per Rules 26(2) and 34 of the Telangana State Minor Mineral Concession Rules 1966 (for short 'the Rules), directing it to pay seigniorage fee along with five times penalty of Rs.2,68,98,375/- totaling an amount of Rs.3,22,78,050/-, as illegal and arbitrary.

Inasmuch as Rule 35 of the Rules provides an appeal remedy against the order passed by the Assistant Director of Mines and Geology, the Writ Petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to avail such remedy of appeal. No order as to costs. 3.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
