Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri S.Sarat, learned Special Government Pleader for Home (TG) appearing for the respondents.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader that the authorities have principally decided to grant permission to the petitioner herein subject to obtaining permission from the Sports Authority. It is also submitted by the learned Government Pleader that the proposed premises can accommodate only 6,000 people and the organizers shall make arrangements accordingly for accommodating such number of people only.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition stands disposed of, with a direction to the petitioner herein to make arrangements in the said direction only and subject to the conditions to be imposed by the authorities. The petitioner herein shall also give an undertaking that it would arrange the meeting only with 6,000 people. There shall be no order as to costs. 4.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
