THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.28817 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India challenging the action of the respondents in continuing the rowdy sheet No.267, dated 01-10-1996 in spite of non-pendency of any case against him.

However, a perusal of the list of crimes shows that the petitioner was acquitted in two cases and in respect of three cases, a bound over order was passed for a period of six months, which came to an end long back in the year 2014. As on today, there is no criminal case pending against the petitioner.

3.

In the circumstances, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the case of the petitioner for closure of rowdy sheet and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
