HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION No.220 of 2012 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus to declare the action of the 1st respondent in suspending the Drug Licenses in Form Nos.20 and 21, dated 15.03.2007 issued in the name of the 4th respondent, instead of canceling the same for the serious violations of Rule 65 of Drugs & Cosmetics Rules, 1945 found in the inspection report, dated 25.11.2011 of Respondents 1 and 2, as arbitrary and illegal, and consequently to direct the 1st respondent to cancel the drug licenses issued in the name of the 4th respondent.

Now, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he came to know that the petitioner died long back and that the subject matter of the writ petition has become infructuous, and, therefore, the learned counsel sought for dismissal of the writ petition.

In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ___________________________ KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI, J Date:30.10.2017 Kv
