At the hearing, Mr.J.Pradeep Kiran, learned counsel for the appellant, has submitted that in view of certain subsequent events, his client does not intend to proceed with this appeal. He has, accordingly, requested for dismissing the appeal as not pressed. 3.

For the aforementioned reasons, this appeal is dismissed as not pressed.

As a sequel to dismissal of the appeal, A.S.M.P.No.2081 of 2017 filed by the petitioner for interim relief shall stand dismissed as infructuous.
