HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 36279 of 2016 Order:

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the third respondent in registering the FIR No.148 of 2016 dated 15.10.2016 in Madanapalle Taluq Police Station, Madanapalle Town, Chittoor district against the petitioner.

This Court, by order dated 10.11.2016, while granting time for filing counter, directed the third respondent not to arrest the petitioner. Now, the learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that there was no complaint against the petitioner and in view of the same no action is being taken against the petitioner for the time being, however, during the course of investigation, if any action is required to be taken, they would follow due process of law. In view of the same, no further orders are necessary in the present Writ Petition.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
