HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.9544 of 2005 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to take appropriate steps forthwith for payment of wages to the staff and workers of the respondent-Corporation by duly declaring the action of the respondents in not pay the wages to the staff and workers as per their eligibility by taking into consideration the timing chart i.e., MTD 141 even though the G.O. issued by the Government i.e., G.O.Rt. No.1333, dated 10.7.2000 and also the letter issued by the Executive Director (Operations), dated 16.8.2000, as illegal and arbitrary.

When this matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents are not extending the wages for over time as per the Timing chart as per the above G.Os. and circular.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-Corporation submits that the wages are being paid to the staff in accordance with the G.Os and circulars issued by the Government from time to time.

In view of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel, this Court is of the view that the relief sought by the

petitioner is being extended by the respondents and therefore, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. 5.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions if any pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ____________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 19th December, 2018 Nn
