The case of the petitioner is that he filed appeal under Section 72 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 against the order, dated 26-05-2016, passed by the 3rd respondent and the same is not disposed of by the 2nd respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. Heard both sides.

In view of the same, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order, dated 26-05-2016, passed by the 3rd respondent, in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after issuing notice to the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
