When the matter came up for hearing on 13.10.2016, the learned counsel for the petitioner called absent and there was no representation on his behalf and the matter was posted under the caption "for dismissal". Even today also, when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It indicates that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the criminal petition.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
