THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.7238 of 2019 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is being disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of learned counsel for both the parties. This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Mandamus declaring the inaction of the 2nd respondent - Managing Director, Telangana State Housing Corporation, Hyderabad, in appointing the petitioner on compassionate grounds in any suitable post as per the representations of the petitioner dated 16.08.2007, 17.10.2012, 10.06.2015, 25.05.2016 and 13.04.2017, as arbitrary, illegal and violative of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India.

Heard Sri Mohd. Ghulam Rasool, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Government Pleader for Services-I. It has been alleged by the petitioner that his father expired on 16.06.2007 while he was discharging his duties as Work Inspector with the respondents. Thereafter, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 16.08.2007 requesting the respondents to consider his case for appointment on compassionate grounds but the respondents are not considering the same. Thereafter, the petitioner has been making series of representations to the respondents and the last representation is

AKS, J W.P.No.7238 of 2019 dated 13.04.2017. Therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner contends that appropriate orders may be passed in this Writ Petition directing the respondents to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents had contended that the case of the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed on the representations submitted by the petitioner.

Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel for both the parties, this Court is of the considered view that this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 13.04.2017 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of. No order as to costs. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 4th APRIL, 2019.
