The Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that in obedience to the interim order of this Court dated 03.08.2006, the petitioner was paid salary and after attaining the age of superannuation, retired from service as well. His statement is placed on record.

Hence, the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, also stand closed.
