THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P.No.6931 and 6932 of 2017 in/and CRIMINAL PETITION No.6710 of 2017 ORDER :

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused in C.C.No.215 of 2013 on the file of the VI Addl.Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad at Nampally, for the offences punishable under Sections 509 of IPC and Section 66-A (b) and (c) and 66-D of the Information Technology Act,2000, and perused the grounds urged in the quash petition, First Information Report and police final report. The defacto-complainant and the accused stated that they settled the matter through elders amicably outside the Court to purchase peace and vide Crl.P.M.P.Nos.6931 and 6932 of 2017 sought to permit to compound the offences and prayed to quash the proceedings and accordingly permission is granted to compound the offences.

In the result, the Crl.P.M.P.Nos.6931 and 6932 of 2017 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.215 of 2013 against the petitioner. The accused is acquitted. Bail bonds of the petitioner/ accused shall stand cancelled. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
