Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Mines for respondents. 2.
Undisputedly, the agreement was for one year from dated 13.05.2016. The period is complete by midnight of 12.05.2017. The writ petition is filed on 21.02.2018. In between there is G.O.Ms.No.84, Industries and Commerce (Mines.I) Department, dated 09.11.2017. The grievance in the writ petition is the authorities not complied with the original agreement within the enforceability period supra are now insisting by virtue of the subsequent G.O.Ms.No.84, dated 09.11.2017. Once such is the case, there is nothing for this Court to direct the authorities to enforce the lapsed agreement, but for remedy of the petitioner, if any, is if at all suffered damages to work out the appropriate remedy against the authorities according to law.

According, the writ petition is disposed of for nothing to keep pending, much less to direct the authorities to enforce that lapsed agreement.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
