2. The assignments in favour of petitioners were cancelled by the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), Narsaraopet, under his order dated 15.10.2015 by passing a detailed order. Aggrieved thereby, petitioners had earlier approached this Court in W.P.No.34831 of 2015 questioning the aforesaid order of the RDO. However, in view of the alternative remedy available to the petitioners, the said writ petition was dismissed on 19.10.2015 giving liberty to the petitioners to avail the same. Thereafter petitioners had filed the present writ petition alleging that pending the revision, petitioners are being dispossessed of their respective DKT lands.

3. Learned Government Pleader has received instructions, which show that the said revision is now pending consideration before the District Collector since 27.10.2015 along with the stay petition.

4. Hence, in my view, it would be appropriate to direct the District Collector, Guntur, respondent No.4, if the appeal/revision is retained by them or if the appeal/revision is made over to respondent No.3, such appropriate authority shall fix a date for hearing of the said revision after notice to the petitioners, hear the petitioners, and pass appropriate orders at least to the extent of interim application for stay made by the petitioners in the said appeal/revision expeditiously preferably within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _____________________ VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR, J December 4, 2015 LMV
