ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondent-police in harassing the petitioners to attend the police station every day and threatening to evict them from their land admeasuring Ac.5.08 in Survey No.226-2A of Kirekera Village Polam of Hindupur Mandal, Anantapur District, as arbitrary and illegal.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, based on the written instructions, submits that as of now, no case was registered or pending against the petitioners and the respondent-police never asked them to vacate the land in question. He further submits that the respondent-police never interfered with the civil disputes and that to prevent the police from taking any action in the event of lodging of any complaint against them in future, the petitioners approached this Court and filed the present writ petition. In view of the aforesaid submissions, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
