THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.2837 of 2004 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in prescribing the age limit in the notification issued by the first respondent on 14.08.2003 in so far as the petitioner is concerned as illegal and arbitrary and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner by allowing the petitioner for interview for appointment to the post of Junior Linemen in the respondents Corporation without disqualify him on the ground of over age as given in the notification and pass such other necessary orders. No representation on behalf of the petitioner on 28.03.2016 and the matter is posted to today 'for dismissal'. Today also even the matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal', there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It seems that the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the matter.
Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for default. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
