HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.10483 of 2004 ORDER:

The petitioner filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his case to the post of Line Inspector as per his seniority without reference to the impugned charge memo.

When this matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that on 28.6.2004, this Court issued interim direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Line Inspector as per Rules. Perusal of the records discloses that the petitioner attained the age of superannuation. In view of the fact that the petitioner attained the age of superannuation and in view of the interim direction issued by this Court, this Court is of the view that no further orders are necessary in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
