ORAL ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Home.
Both petitioners claim to have attained majority and claimed to have married on 1.4.2019. Petitioners now allege that their family members are against their marriage and father of the deponent/first petitioner created lot of problems when she expressed her desire to marry the second petitioner. Deponent now alleges that her father is financially sound and has political influence; is influencing respondents 3 and 4 and on his influence concocted story was created and police officials are interfering with their peaceful life by frequently calling them to police station without assigning any reason.
3.
Vague allegations are made on frequently calling to police station and interfering with life and liberty. Further, though, allegations are made against father of deponent, he is not made party. Even according to averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, marriage was performed on 1.4.2019 and immediately on 4.4.2019 this writ petition is filed. The petitioners apprehend that their family members may create problems and interfere with their peaceful co-existence. If that is so, it is always open to the petitioners to work out their remedies and seek legal protection if illegal interference is caused with their life and liberty, who claimed to have married with their free will and under no duress. As of now, it is premature to contend that police are interfering in their life and liberty as no crime is registered. Therefore, writ petition is dismissed leaving it open to petitioners to work out their remedies as and when any illegal action is taken against them. No costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed. __________________ P NAVEEN RAO,J DATE: 9-4-2019 TVK
