This Writ Petition is being disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of both the parties.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not enhancing the salary of the petitioners to Rs.15,000/ as per G.O.Ms.No.14 Finance HRM-1 Department, dated 19-02-2016 and paying pittance amount of Rs.9,250/- to the petitioners from the date of their initial appointment till date without any enhancement of salary for more than 2 1⁄2 years as highly illegal, unconstitutional and against the principles of natural justice and sought a consequential direction to the respondents to pay salary to the petitioners at the rate of Rs.15000/- per month as per G.O.Ms.No.14, Finance HRM1 Department, dated 19-02-2016 and also to pay the arrears from the date of their eligibility till date. 3.

Heard Sri Ch. Ganesh, learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Services-II appearing for the respondents.

The petitioners submit that they are working with the respondents as Accountants/Accounts Assistants on outsourcing basis since 2016. The grievance of the petitioners is that the State Government had issued G.O.Ms.No.14, dated 19-02-2016 wherein the

AKS,J W.P.No.7340 of 2019 State Government has enhanced the salary of outsourcing employees to Rs.15,000/- per month, but the respondents are not paying enhanced salary in terms of the said G.O.

Learned Government Pleader for Services-II submits that the petitioners have not submitted any representation and if the petitioners submit the representation to that effect, it would be considered in accordance with law.

This Court, having considered the submissions made by both the parties, is of the considered view that the Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the petitioners to submit representation to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon such representation, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within eight weeks thereafter.

With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
