THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.14597 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction declaring the action of the 4th respondent herein in holding that the licence period for the shops notified at Gazette SI.No.CT8 in Gazette No.21 dated 24.03.2017 commenced from 01.04.2017 instead of 01.07.2017 as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the rules and consequently direct the 4th respondent to grant licence to the petitioner in respect of the above shop and pass such other or further orders as the Hon'ble Court feels deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

Heard and perused the material available on record.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the common order, dated 03.07.2017, passed in W.A.No.527 of 2017 and W.P.No.12425 of 2017, this writ petition is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
