Petition under Section 438 of Cr.P.C, praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the Criminal Petition, the High Court may be pleased to enlarge the petitioners/Accused Nos. 4 and 5 on anticipatory bailjrf{he event of their arrest in connection with Crime No.8 of 2019 On the file of the P.S.Women P.S. Srirampur, Ramagundam District, during the pendency of inquiry and trial. The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Sri NOJpfA SRINIVAS, Advocate for the Petitioners, PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (Tffilhe Respondent, the Court made the following.

The petitioners are accused Nos.4 and 5 in Crime No.B of 2019 on the file of Women Police Station, Srirampur, Ramagundam District, registered under Sections 498A and 354 IPC along with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, By way of this .

petition they seek anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Be it noted that the charges levelled against the petitioners are only under Section 498A IPC read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, and not the offence alleged under Section 354 IPC.

Perusal of the complaint which led to the registration of the F.LR. demonstrates that no specific overt acts were attributed to the petitioners herein in relation to the dowry harassment and only general allegations were made against them.

That being so, this Court is of the opinion that this would be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to t e petitioners subject to some conditions.

In the result, the Criminal Petition is allowed. In the event, the petitioners are arrested in relation to Crime No.8 of 2019 on the file of Women Police.Station, Srirampur, Ramagundam District, they shall be enlarged on bail upon their furnishing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) each along wlth two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the Station House Officer, Women Police Station, Srirampur, Ramagundam
