HONOURABLE SRI J USTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No. 2605 of 2017.

ORDER:

Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Irrigation appearing for the respondents. The petitioner herein, according to him, is a licensed civil and electrical contractor doing civil and electrical contract works of the State Government, State Government Undertakings and also private sectors. It is further submitted that pursuant to the tender notification dated 18.11.2016, the petitioner herein stood as successful bidder and works were awarded in his favour. It is further pleaded that despite completion of works, the amounts payable to him have not been paid. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of grievance, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the second respondent on 06.12.2016 and the same may be directed to be considered in accordance with law.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that necessary orders will be passed in accordance with law on the representation of the petitioner. In view of the submissions of learned Counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated

06.12.2016 and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
