THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No.27246 of 2015 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the third respondent-Chief Engineer, Engineering Department, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), in issuing letter No.JNTUH/ED/2648/2015-16, dated 31.07.2015 without finalizing the tenders issued for the contract work to provide security services. The learned standing counsel appearing for JNTUH/ respondents 2 & 3 submits that after issuance of letter dated 31.07.2015, the tenders were finalized and the work was also entrusted to M/s. Kartikeya Securities Services, fourth respondent herein and in view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner did not dispute the same. In view of the same, the writ petition has become infructuous and is accordingly dismissed as infructuous with liberty to take appropriate legal proceedings challenging the award of the contract in favour of the fourth respondent if the petitioner is so advised. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
