This writ petition is filed challenging the show cause notice dated 26.10.2009, issued by the 1st respondent, wherein the petitioner was directed to show cause as to why she shall not be removed from the post of 'Sarpanch'.

This Court, by order dated 26.04.2010 while admitting the writ petition has not granted any interim order and by afflux of time the term of the petitioner is also over, as such, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous as no further orders are required to be passed. No order as to costs.
