THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO M.A.C.M.A.No.1299 of 2005 JUDGMENT:

This appeal is preferred by the claimant seeking enhancement of compensation for the injuries caused to him in a motor accident that occurred on 10.05.2002. The appellant claimed an amount of Rs.9,80,000/- for the injuries sustained by him and the Tribunal awarded an amount of Rs.4,05,537/- together with interest at 6% per annum by award dated 25.03.2005 in M.V.O.P.No.182 of 2002. Respondent Nos.1 and 2 herein are the driver and owner respectively of the vehicle involved in the accident. The appeal was dismissed for default against them by order dated 05.01.2012 and no steps have been taken by the appellant. In the absence of the owner of the vehicle, this appeal cannot be adjudicated and the same is, accordingly, dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
