THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.32776 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents, in seizing the subject vehicle of the petitioner herein without following any procedure, as illegal and arbitrary.

The material available on record shows that the petitioner herein, for redressal of its grievance, filed an application before the District Transport Officer, Peddapallisecond respondent herein but no action has been taken so far.

In the facts and circumstances of the case and having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Transport, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the first respondent to take appropriate action on the said application, dated 17.09.2017, submitted by the petitioner herein, and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
