THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO. 21266 of 2017 ORDER :

Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not conducting and completing the investigation in Crime No.101 of 2017 of Nizamabad IIl Town Police Station, Nizamabad District, dated 20.04.2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 409 and 415 of IPC, as illegal and arbitrary. 3.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation, at the earliest, and file a final report. 4.

Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, states that the investigation is still going on and as soon as it is completed, a final report would be filed. 5.

Having regard to the submissions made across the Bar, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.101 of 2017 of Nizamabad IIl Town Police Station, Nizamabad District, dated 20.04.2017, and file a final report, at the earliest, in accordance with law.
