THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.332 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners-accused Nos.2 to 4 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.307 of 2013 on the file of Pulivendula Police Station, YSR Kadapa District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A IPC and 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. No stay was granted by this Court earlier. Admittedly, the case pertains to the year 2014. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for by the petitioners at this length of time.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed. ______________ RAJA ELANGO, J February 16, 2016.
