When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the parties in the impugned crime compromised before the Lok Adalat and no cause survives for adjudication in this criminal petition and the same has become infructuous.

2) Recording the said submission, this criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
