The writ petition is filed questioning the action of the 2nd respondent in not deposing of the complaint/representation dated 04.10.2014 submitted by the petitioner under Section 5 of the A.P. (Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes and Backward Classes) Regulation of issuance of Community Certificates Act, 1993. Now it is brought to the notice of this Court by proceedings dated 10.09.2017, issued by the Joint Collector & Chairman of the D.L.S.C., Prakasam District, Ongole, declaring the 3rd respondent belongs to the Padmasali (BC-B) Community.

In those circumstances, as the District Collector is the competent authority to make a decision in terms of Section 5 of the A.P. (Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes and Backward Classes) Regulation of issuance of Community Certificates Act, 1993, necessary orders shall be made by the District Collector on the complaint/representation dated 04.10.2014 of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible after following the due process of law. With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
